Raise and Remember: A Father's Survival Story
On September 11th, 2001, firefighter Bill Spade aided the evacuation of the North Tower of the World Trade Center. When the towers came down, Spade thought only of his family. In the thirteen years since 9/11, Spade has retired from the fire department, raised two sons, and retold his remarkable story of survival countless times. This 21 minute documentary explores the meaning of survival for a Staten Island father whose personal memories are part of U.S. History and for his son who has no memories of what life was like before September 11th.
